The poor president. He had a Democrat controlled house until 2010 and did nothing, then claimed the evil Republicans won't let him do what he wants. It almost seems like he doesn't really want to do anything he promised.

If you actually read the Huffpo article linked by UB, you will realize that it is not at all hopeful.

I'm guessing by November, the job outlook and economy will be much worse. The true costs of the healthcare act will be released by the CBO to the tune of almost $2 trillion of 10 years. The Holder situation will be further along and viewed unfavorably by most. Add the 10-20% increase in inflation, the 2nd round of housing defaults, the coming wars and democratic voter failures in Egypt, Syria, Israel, etc., and then the presidential debates will come along and Obamas record will continue to be high-lighted (failures in most regards), people will be ready for a change............ so, screw legalization- the country is facing a lot more pressing issues than getting high!

You assume I actually care beyond just having an interest in American politics.
