i never said voting fraud doesn't happen, we have paulbots on this board who advertise that they will be voting three times for the guy in a futile attempt to elect him.

the question is the degree of the problem
. so far you have not established that voting fraud is anything more than negligible.

so, 110,000,000 or so votes cast in 2008, how many cases of voter fraud?
Well, if it is just a matter of degree that you are concerned with then you ought to agree with the "voter purge" in Florida. The account posted by Canndo (I think) said that 80% of those purged in fact had no right to vote. 5:1 ratio seems pretty reasonable.

That's all I needed, you admit it happens, so should we let this illegal activity take place? Absolutely not I don't care if only 3 people do it time to lock it down, no reason not to right?
you still have not established that voter fraud is more problematic than the documented damage that the voter purge did or a voter ID would do.

establish your premise, kid.

i saw no citation there and you have provided no citation either.

If your not registered to vote it is not easy to vote and your vote doesn't even count in the current election. As far as I know it is not easy for an illegal alien to vote; is it? I remember when I wasn't registered in my town to vote it took me at least 3 or 4 documents to prove that I was able to vote in that district and I had recently been in the US Army. I don't get how an illegal alien or someone that is not a US citizen is even able to vote. I mean you can't just walk up to the voting center, show your drivers license and go into the booth. At least where I am from you can't you need to be pre registered. I have no idea how they do it in Florida; does anyone?
Yeah, I do. I have four voter ID cards on my counter right now, because they didn't start purging the rolls soon enough, so I got the cards of the students who used to live here. They've left the state, so I can get absentee ballots (another Dem idea) and vote for them if I choose. That would give me five votes. Or I can go to the group home on the 3000 block of Plymouth St. in Jacksonville, FL for the mentally disabled and buy votes for a pack of cigarettes and a beer. That would give me 120 votes. Is that specific enough?

That is just the cost of the ID. Supporting documents are more time and money. Then there is having to take time to deal with the dmv.

Although I am pretty sure voter id is what the founding fathers wanted.
NO...they wanted illegal Mexicans to vote.

judging by your ability to spell second grader words, you'd probably vote in crayon, so we're not worried. neither are your nobel prize winning colleagues.

Fact that more than enough people have seen it with their own eyes.......premise enough. The chances of someone stealing your wallet could be slim do you set it on top of your car when you go in? I mean its one stupid comment after another with you.

Sounds like you want to disenfranchise the crayon crowd, Almost. What do you have against artists.

Using the same metrics the WH uses when saying they created 4 million jobs it comes out to 28,048,393 votes were fraudulent. IDK, seems pretty high to me, but it's the calculations I'm given to work with.

you get angry with me and insult me because you're unable to premise your own argument.

that's 14 year old behavior right there.

it seems to me if voter fraud were such a huge problem, you guys wouldn't be so sluggish about showing me the numbers.

but the fact is, and i've known it all along, that voter fraud is an invented problem by the GOP. lower turnout favors them, so they've manufactured it as a problem, and you guys have bought it hook, line, and sinker. just like the fast and furious is a plot to take away our guns theory.

it's funny to watch you guys eat it up so readily.

perhaps someone can swoop in and premise the argument, since this group clearly can't. i'm gonna run out and get some beer. good luck!

spoken like a true 14 year old. how is a gun registration sufficient, but a college ID is not? it's just a blatant attempt to keep certain people from voting.
College students? They have voter registration drives at the local colleges. Many of the students vote in two states.

Stay away from the skittles. I hear those can be fatal.

what's the price for an ID in your state? here is is $56, $26.50 for a replacement. that's an effective poll tax and is illegal, not to mention statistics show that consistently left leaning groups, especially minorities, are less likely to have or be able to afford an ID. now go ahead and call me a racist for stating solid facts.
$5.00 in Florida for state ID. Only in Liberal states are they trying to suppress the vote?
