then realize we are only 20 years out from The Cold War and the effects from rebuilding Europe then Japan moving on to containing communism around the world for 40 years. Plus we were in everyone's else's business in the western hemisphere (Mexico, Canada, South America, Cuba etc...) since before our country was officially a country. This isnt some new revelation its how this country has operated since its start.

The policy was generally referred to as "Splended Isolation".

Back to the premise the OP had...the US doesn't control here at all genius nor many places worldwide, you need to double up your tinfoil, the radio waves are starting to get in.

Anyone with half a brain would see Americas international power waning, your public has lost its appetite for war and conflict, without these you have very little power bar your nuclear arsenal (which MAD assures are useless). I'd be watching the Tiger and Sickle in the East tbh.

That's the same mistake so many made when Dr Paul would discuss foreign policy. They would call him an isolationist. An isolationist will have no contact with foreign nations.
Before WWI, we not only traded with other countries, we sent troops in, too.

Isolationists can still trade with other powers, its just they don't involve themselves on the world stage unless it involves them directly.

America used troops the way it does now prior to WWI? Link me up brother, I think your version of history is a little off tho

Actually America did. Not quite as frequently or in volume as they do now, but they still sent over a division or 2 every now and again.

It's customary to provide an example when referring to a "historical fact"
