Abandon, those bar graphs are of firts derivatives: rates of change. Are there graphs of the base quantity? That would be more informative imo.

According to your graphs the economy was already improving before the stimulus spending. Anyway we will see I hope it gets better. I'm afraid bailing out the euro will not help. Plus you can't forget about the massive debt that is completely out of control.

It isn't like economic growth is good for the earth anyway.
It would be nice to have better graphs, but I think rates of change give credible indications. Why wouldn't they?
