Presidential Executive Privilege
Obama justdeclared Executive Privilege as it pertains to the Fast and FuriousInvestigation. That can only mean thatHolder and the President had conversations about this issue either before,during or after. In February Holder testifiedin front of Congress that there has never been communication between him andthe President.
He will beheld in Contempt today for sure and most likely wind up in Jail at some point.
What bothersme is that the White House must have known all along and that they have beenlying to us.

Obama's claiming exec privelege in no way indicates that he had prior knowlege of Holder's actions. He may well be perserving the powers of the exec branch as a matter of course.
Argue for your opinion because it is true, not because it is your opinion.

Please explain as I am very intrested. Is he trying to block Congress from finding him in Contempt?? If that is the case than why would the President want to distance his office from the acts of the Attorney Generals office that caused the death of an agent?????
I would think he would want the public to know to show he is behind us and not behind doors?

I'll have to disagree, it's precisely why the president invoked executive privilege.
The AG is on record saying the president had no prior knowledge of guns being deliberately leaked out to Mexican cartels by the DOJ, the president himself is on record claiming the same.
The reasons for invoking executive privilege is to protect sensitive military or diplomatic information, or preserving executive branch communication between presidents, top aides, officials and advisers.
We all can agree it sure as hell isn't a question of national security, so what reason is left?
