The House will vote a contempt measure against him and 31 dems might be joining. Those kinds of votes are usually pretty straight line. Sounds to me like dems are positioning for Holder to take a fall. You know there's a lot of hand-wringing in the WH wondering if the damage is greater with the investigation in the news month after month, or maybe it's time for Holder to go.
question, can they still prosecute him after he leaves office or is that it?

they can but probably won't. It would set an ugly president and the kiddies in D.C. can be vindictive. There is a reason Bushney was never brought up on charges.
DERP!
"But one thing gives hope – the visible swing in public opinion...In that spectacular disaster the working class, the middle class and even a section of the business community could see the utter rottenness of private capitalism." ~George Orwell
Obama and Holder can't help it, ya just shake the thug mentality out of them, they'll both go down in flames!
Ha! Was that an unintentional pun? Fall on his word instead of sword? I don't know that it takes any loyalty to Obama for him to go. If Obama withdraws support, publicly or privately, Holder doesn't have much choice but to resign. But again, the problem seems to be which scenario is more damaging. If holder resigns it is an admission of guilt and that will be harped on till the election. If he stays then the investigation stays in the news, and who knows what new evidence comes out?
