AG Holder Accused of Lying on Medical Marijuana Crackdown
US Attorney General Eric Holder appeared before the House Judiciary Committee Thursday and defended his Justice Department's crackdown on medical marijuana cultivation and distribution. Holder told committee members the agency was only targeting only those medical marijuana businesses that were "acting out of conformity… with state law."

Of course I think the feds should just back out of MJ totally, BUT it seems to me that for an Attorney General to go before congress and openly say it is their policy to enforce some cases of law X being violated, and ignore others, and to do so based on the administration's own political beliefs - is a little shocking.
ps This is also a little like the AZ thing - "we are going to enforce state law - or not as we choose"

His sacred list of places that were operating within state law and shut down by the Feds is finally there too.
