They are too entrenched in Washington and could care less about their constituency. I did once get a reply from a congressional staffer, Probably some 15 year old that Foley missed, the reply to my e-mail did not make any sense and my reply to that didn't get a reply. I think they random pick like one out of thousands to respond to and the rest go in the trash, and the actual congressman never sees them. The only thing that works is snail mail, as that piles up physically and is harder to ignore, whearas email can be deleted by the touch of a button. So write your congressman and spend the 40+cents, the postal service needs the money. Lets start with STOP THIS FUCKING WAR NOW!

| | So, now we have the Democrats in power ... and what is the very first thing on their agenda? They have bundled up a RECORD spending proposal. Stay tuned ... the budget deficit is gonna go through the roof. Next thing on the agenda will be to raise taxes in order to pay for it. After that, we can expect the economy to bust. And after that ... we can expect the Democrats to blame it on Bush. Vi

| | we can expect the Democrats to blame it on Bush. The only answer to bushs' war spending is to raise taxes, yes the Democrats can count and the way to financial solvency is to take in as much as you spend. the tax cuts for the rich have obliterated the surplus Bush had when he assumed office and he continues to spend like a drunken sailor. We must stop the war and get back the tax money from the mega rich. only then can we begin to bring the budget under control. So hell yeah the Democrats can blame it on Bush, He started this needless war and gave all the rich back 90% of their tax money, who else is to blame?

| | "the tax cuts for the rich have obliterated the surplus Bush had when he assumed office..." You are wrong ... wrong and wrong some more old Kool Aid drinker. The tax cuts were for anyone who paid taxes, in direct proportion to the taxes paid. Therefore, the higher income earners got a larger percentage than middle income earners. The destitute got nothing from the tax cuts because they paid no taxes. So, your "Tax Cuts For The Rich" statement is nothing more than DNC talking points. Down some more Kool-Aid Med. *lol* The so-called surplus left by the Clintonistas was not a surplus at all ... but nothing more than creative accounting. Prove me wrong on this if you can. We've had some suprise expenses during the Bush administration ... The Iraq war, Katrina and 9-11. The tax increases have cut the deficit in half ... prove me wrong on this also if you can. Remember, "feelings" are not proof. Show me some facts to back up your delusions. Vi

Vi where are your facts the deficit has been cut in half, I told you they didn't allow for the war spending, 350 billion supplementals. that is some Bush creative budget analysis. Prove me wrong on this, and I'll get on with your dictates. Man, I'll bet you were a prick to work for!

| | Man, I'll bet you were a prick to work for! Yep, I was ... but only to those who thought the company owed them a living. I expected exactly a dollars worth of work for a dollar's pay. Even though I've been out of management for over 30 years, I STILL have some of my old guys stop by from time to time. They knew I wasn't there to win a popularity contest. And ... if you survived as one of "My Guys," you could hold your head up high. You were known as a hard worker, an honest person and a real ball buster. If you survived as one of my guys, you could depend upon me to back you to the hilt. I admit, not everyone could work for me, and the reason was, the other guys wouldn't allow it. The standards were set WAY too high for most to survive. Those who DID survive were of a different breed. Kind of like the Marine Corps Med ... only a few good men. Vi
