| | The King of Cannabis
When it comes to Cannabis, Holland is King. Our planet knows of no other society that approaches the Dutch standard of civilization. Tolerance and freedom are not just words in Holland, they are cherished and practiced. The fact that for the past decade they have allowed High Times to hold a Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam is a testament to this town's heart.
Thirty years ago, brave Dutch stoners took on their community in an effort to be recognized as legitimate humans, with the right to partake in an ancient ceremony involving cannabis flowers and their resins. Today there are 350 coffeeshops in Amsterdam and about 1000 more across Holland. These coffeeshops specialize in stocking a variety of buds and hashish, both domestic and imported.
Not my words btw

| | Yeah, Holland takes their citizens freedom seriously. They actually allow input from their citizens on social issues. A society that takes the welfare of it's citizenry seriously has a far better chance of having a long run of democracy. This country (USA) is well on the way to becoming a dictatorship. It is already a plutocracy, (Where a few rich and powerful men control the many), The recent (6 year) reign of King Bush has set this democracy back a hundred years. If they succeed in ruining Social Security and Medicare, we'll be back in the dark ages of Fuedalism. I forsee child labor around the corner as no family will be able to make a living with only the husband and wife working! And this is the good news, you don't want to hear the bad. |

| | Oh, Geeze ... !!! After reading Med's last post, I can clearly see that there is no need to carry on. Life is not worth living. No use even trying as we are doomed from birth by the Bush family! Quick, hand me the bottle of poison ... Med, you drink first, OK? Vi
