WASHINGTON (AP) Jon Huntsman will withdraw Monday from the race for the Republican presidential nomination, campaign officials told the Associated Press on Sunday.

Huntsman will endorse Mitt Romney at an event in South Carolina, the officials said. Huntsman believes Romney is the best candidate to beat President Obama in November, they said.

Moreover, I think this shows how much of a bullshitter Huntsman is after attacking Romney for two weeks like he has.

It seems like it was all some kind of elaborate setup to steal Ron Paul votes, I mean, he was the only socially liberal one and only focused on new hampshire. Why was a democrat even involved in this to begin with? Then he does the setup with the fake Ron Paul attack ad and the fake Mitt Romney attack ad, all this from an insider globalist......sigh

Ron Paul is a non interventionist. Trade with all nations entangling alliances with none. Respect the property rights of sovereign nations.

A President Romney is something the country cannot afford, Huntsman said.

“The establishment is going to tee-up Mitt Romney,” he said. “Mitt’s a decent guy. I respect him. But you know what? This country can’t afford a status quo president. This country needs change.”

And Huntsman was the only candidate actually pulling votes away from Romney since they were the only two moderates in this contest. This makes Romney stronger, no doubt.
