I love how in the US, someone considered so far left that they would support marxism would be considered fairly right leaning in most other parts of the civilized world
not that im agreeing with his platform, i think Obama is a pretty great guy with good intentions, but i tend to support a more libertarian platform myself.
The republicans basically have two useless candidates, Mccain who isn't supported by core "conservatives" and romney who has flip flopped more in reality than anyone ever even made up about kerry and also has so many skeletons in his closet that the dems will steamroll his ass. McCain is the only chance for them and he is worthless at this point. He had his chance and he let bush walk all over him, and then sucked his ass for the past 8 years. sorry john, you fail.
Plus, do you really think Mccain can take the stress of a campaign? or of being in office for 4-8 years as POTUS? the guy looks half dead as it is. I really think Rudy is attempting to gain the VP slot with him. just what we need, and really isn't a brilliant idea? he fucked his own campaign up so bad that ron paul beat him in almost every primary when he was supposed to be the front runner, so he figures he can ride the mccain wave and then when john kicks the bucket a year into it he can slide right into the oval office without winning everything. fuck you rudy.. ghouliani alone would make me not even glance at voting for that ticket. Two old balding warmongering fascist assholes who want to shove realID up my ass and play big brother 100x more than the people scream at the libs for.
And both of them support a war that the majority of americans want out of, as well as Romney wanting to "double guantanamo" anid Mccain talking about staying in Iraq for 100 years
they are already doomed against obama, maybe not against hillary.Hillary is polarizing enough to deter a lot of people from voting for her. The only way obama wont see the white house if he gets the nomination against one of those guys is if someone were to assassinate him during the process.
I dont think obama will mess things up too bad, but i absolutely despise his view on guns, although i can see his viewpoint, it is wrong, but i think things in this country and in the world will go in a way better direction for us with him as our president.
That said, if it's hillary vs mccain/ghoul or romney ... i really think a 3rd choice might have a chance this time around.
