I think the media was just surprised he was a christian extremist; I mean, I got a CNN news alert on my phone that someone had opened fire at a youth camp and I immediately thought "muslim terrorist". I know... I'm horrible lol, but that's really how it went down. I suspect their fascination stems from the surprise - not some liberal media conspiracy to make the godless liberals hate christianity. I mean, weren't you surprised to find out he wasn't a muslim terrorist?

The media is grabbing onto whatever it thinks is a story, they're married to sensationalism after all... I do watch fox news on occasion (mostly for comic releif, other times for a specific interview, etc) and they've been very quick to point out the "liberal media" and it's "bias" towards this guy who "there is absolutely no evidence to suggest he was a Christian - NONE!"(Bill O'Reilly)... I think you and Fox News may be grasping at straws here, Jeff.

thats why the tsa takes a 95 yr old grandmas diaper off and fondles 6 year old white girls at the airport, while allowing a yeminise exchange student with no passport and someone elses ticket on an airplane.

For real man, people have been using religion as an excuse to do horrible shit since the beginning of time. You seem to be a Christian, and seem to think that Islam is somehow out to get you or your religion. Thats not the case Jeff, it isnt the fault of your religion or theirs. Neither religion advocates any kind of violence or terrorism, not your not theirs.

Its extremists that are the problem Jeff, and it isnt bound to religion only. Extremists in religious communities, political parties and other groups are the problem. Jeff, it isnt the particular movement thats the problem, it is the extremists within that movement that are the problem.

You gotta find a new wagon to hitch your horse to man, the whole "war on Christmas" and "attack on Christianity" bullshit is getting old and is as lame as it was when O'Reilly started this crap years ago. IF you want to use someone elses talking points at least pick a broadcaster thats isnt completely full of shit.

I think everyone, including the TSA, is in agreement that current airport security practices are ridiculous; They're working to improve "passenger experience" though if that counts for anything... The new system they're working on and testing actually seems promising IMO, but we'll see how it works out.
