USA Having A Revolution?!

Fog has it right,we Americans have already been disarmed without the guns being taken away as of yet.And if you try and bolster what is necessary to stage the revolt, a terrorist you are indeed,just let them try and take away our facebook ,twitter,utube....watch what happens then,...o yea thats right.We would still probably make more excuses not to do anything but complain about the Government if they were to do such,oh well so much for the idea of a revolution guess we will just take it in stride and just hate the Government like usual, sad but true.

Uhhh, have any of you guys ever been inside of a hunting lodge during elk or deer season? I have, and believe me, there is still plenty of manhood out there with the expertise to use a high-powered rifle and hit a target at 500 yards. You can't judge the mindset of the American male if you only live on the east or west coast.

I agree with you, Charlie but deer rifles don't do much against tanks:

Yeah, they like to compare us with OTHER countries so much, let's do a little weapons comparison:
May a US citizen possess a full automatic firearm? Not without a class 3 Federal Firearms License. Yet in places like Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia, you can have full autos, RPGs, Stingers, grenades, mines... they have all the fun.

I think it's a legitimate question, you are posting on a politics forum after all; If you make a statement and don't back it up, what good is that statement?

First of all, what use is a tank against a Mob? none...

Second of all, how do civilian arms compare to those used by the military? well I can get a 5.56 firing semi auto for less than 400 bucks, and those seem to be working allright in Afghanistan, You want explosives? Befriend a native with a fireworks stand, or hit the internet for a combustible recipe....

Third of all, how many soldiers do you know that would be willing to fire on their own country-men, yeah a few but there are alot who would say F-this.

Fourth of all, If you look at American History Guerilla warfare has been the most succesfull weapon against organized military, you think you need technology to hold a revolution nah, just look at every example of a military quagmire... and there you will find your inspiration.
