A few months back my state sold it's tollway system.
Then my state sold it's red light cameras and the new talks are of selling off the citys parking meters.

Tollway
1)The tollway system was only a short term idea, using this lie they were able to vote in this wounderful system.
2)The tollways were built using the peoples money,but now sold to a
private company without any reimbursement to the meany who paid into the system.
3)The tollway has doubled in price the last few years, it was 40 cents then came the idea of a tollway card and people without the tollway card would infact pay more money,$1 without the card and 80cents with using ur tollway card.

Red light cameras
1) First, its against are constitutional right to privacy.
2)Again, the red light system has been paid for by the people
and yes it was sold to yet another private company without any reimbursement,while the fines have gone up 40%.

Parking meters
1)The street and sidewalks have been been paid for by the state using the people money, I personaly believe that my state has zero right to charge since we already paid for it.We the people pay the metermaids,the city tow trucks and any other expanses.
2)What eles in this world cost 25 cents with a penalty of 25,000% interest to watch that interest jump to 50,000% if not paid witnin 30 days?
3) It's unlawful for any other company to take such actions, but not
the state run meter system.
4)Talks of a privaties meter system will only lead to talk of a higher interest rate, the days of 25,000% will be missed.

Privatization: The new fascist state. By selling off the infrastructure, they can add profit. Parking meters that used to give you a half hour for a quarter will now only give you 10 minutes after they are reprogrammed. A private company will send you a ticket for running that red light then a private policeforce (Blackwater comes to mind) will arrest you when you fail to appear, and you will be sent to a private prison, all profit oriented. So the more prisoners, the more they make. Pretty soon there will be more people in prison than out.

Most roads and other so called public improvements were funded thru the sale of municipal bonds and paid off with the ad-valorem tax; these are owned by the tax paying public.
Because of gross mismanagement and malfeasance, our inept and corrupt elected officials want to sell them off to the highest bidders?
I think not....this is a scam of the greatest magnitude and it should be stopped.

this is going on all over the place. it is a sham, a scam and discusting. toll roads here in the south were also sold to the people as a short term method of paying for a new road. but it was such a huge revenue corner that it has only increased over and over again in price for the last 15 years.

they are now taking over existing road and turning them into tolls. and they are not even lieing anymore. recently, the tolls have become so busy, just like any other highway they anounced a hike in prices to thin the trafic out.

and now privatizing these tolls even to OUTSIDE NATIONS is what i hear. another step toward one world government.

We don't have toll roads in Nv. but there has been talk of making our beltway a toll rd. Then of course the next progression is to sell it to the highest bidder. Of course all of the roads in Nv. were paid for with public funds so they are already paid for. Selling our infrastructure to private firms is a crime and must be stopped. The privatization of America will lead to disaster. There are some roles for government and stewardship of our infrastructure is an important one. Selling our national parks is another scam in the works.

When I go to my mother house I have to pay a toll($1)
In the last yr or so they have added yet another small toll just for her exit(25 cents)
its now $2.50 just in tolls, around trip.
It sucks!
