Fox Loses GOP Debate Support

The New Hampshire Republican Party dropped their affiliation with a Republican debate sponsored by Fox News tomorrow night because they have limited the number of candidates that can participate, according to a report in Boston.com.

“The first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary serves a national purpose by giving all candidates an equal opportunity on a level playing field," said Republican chair Fergus Cullen. "Only in New Hampshire do lesser known, lesser funded underdogs have a fighting chance to establish themselves as national figures."

The Fox debate is excluding Texas Congressman Ron Paul even though he polls higher in New Hampshire and has raised significantly more money, and is campaigning more in New Hampshire than Fred Thompson who is invited.

"We look forward to presenting a substantive forum which will serve as the first program of its kind this election season," David Rhodes, vice president of Fox News, said in a statement.

the conspiracy continues. they will not stop until thy create a system of a communism under the guise of a secure and safe democracy where freedom is measured in material goods instead of liberty. yeah, its confusing, i know. FOX News is incredibly biased. Apparently they wouldnt profit off Ron Paul gaining support so they didnt invite him. i wonder if FOX News has political ties? maybe they are being swayed by the powers that be? Nooo. that could never happen. (sarcasm required for correct context.)

Now I believe you see more than ever. In the '50s to 90's it was top-tier news all the way, featuring a few select viewpoints. But with the internet, freelance journalists are everywhere. You have to look around a little harder to find it though.

Ron Paul to Host Televised Townhall with Undecided New Hampshire Voters

Sun Jan 6, 2008 1:51pm EST

MANCHESTER, N.H.--(Business Wire)--Republican presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul's
campaign will be hosting its own forum on New Hampshire television,
following Dr. Paul's exclusion from a Fox News Republican "forum"
tonight.

The one hour townhall will be broadcast on Manchester television
station MCAM TV-23 from 5-6 PM ET. The event will also be simulcast
online at Ron Paul 2008 — Hope for America.

"By unfairly excluding Congressman Paul, Fox News is turning its
back on New Hampshire voters who are tired of business as usual in
Washington that overtaxes, overspends and tramples our personal
liberties," said Ron Paul spokesman Jesse Benton. "Dr. Paul's message
of freedom, peace and prosperity is a natural fit with the Granite
State's 'live free or die' philosophy."

Congressman Paul was excluded from the Fox News event despite
routinely polling higher in New Hampshire than other candidates
included in the Fox forum, and raising nearly $20 million dollars last
quarter.

Fox is getting plenty of flak from their viewers over eliminating RP from the debates. I'm a regular Fox viewer and I'm appalled over their lack of respect for Ron Paul's ideas. Like I said before ... these people claim to be for a smaller, less intrusive government, but when the rubber hits the road, they are statists just like the Dems.
