I think most of you skip over what most people are saying because you have your minds made up and refuse to deal with reality. You say we are prepared if the enemy come over here. Did you just arrive in this country? The enemy has been here probably longer than you have.Heard of sleeper cells? The one thing they have that we don't have is patients and the element of surprise. which leads me to ask, why do you even see it as an option to jeapoardize not only yourself but your fellow citizens by ignoring the hornet's nest and wishing they would come here to our land? i know a lot of soldiers don't like the situation but they signed up, the vast majority are proud of what they are doing over there. i didn't go to college so i can carry out guerilla attacks on invaders in my country..if they come i promise i will but it's not what i chose..why do you want to invite them here on my behalf? especially since they aren't going to fight the fighters, they just kill the innocents.

you cite the patriot act as a liberty stealing tool. i agree, on the surface this is a very scary tool as i am a hard-core advocate of privacy.. the flip side though, i'm glad our government has put it on the table... they could do this without us knowing and it wouldn't even come to light until after this administration was back at the ranch in private life. it's not an executive power grab, it's a beaurocratic pruning mechanism..that's why the house and senate have to vote on it everytime it expires and that's why it can never not-expire...

i just don't understand the direction you have indicated in your posts. what is your solution to the problem, or are you saying it really isn't a problem and you would take a few thousand casualties inflicted on ordinary citizens once in a while?

We send in the CIA to disrupt any government that is opposed to our corporations stealing their resourses, and if they get too resistant, then we lable them terrorists and start a war! Believe me, If you were one of those foriegn citizens we've fucked over, you'd want to terrorize the US also. It's like US against the world. How pathetic, the bullies don't know how to play, so they just beat up everyone. The sooner the American people wake up to the truth and start reigning in the corporations, the sooner we can expect peace. Corporations see no profit in peace, and they don't have to do the dying in wars, so guess what, "There will be wars and rumors of wars", thats a quote from somewhere in the Bible! wake up, the corporations are the enemy, not the terrorists. If you reign in the corporations and change American foriegn policy, there will be no need for the terrorists to exist. There will still be some pissed off muslim extremests, but eventually with a sane foriegn policy we can overcome them and promote peace. Meanwhile, don't live in terror like some here on this site, peeing in their panties, Just be vigilant, and aware of your surroundings at all times. This is good advice even against domestic terrorists (thieves, rapists, gang bangers, etc.), Look out for you and yours, and try and get a view of the big picture!
