You know whats really Ironic? When some gormless person comes in and doesn't understand the purpose of a forum.
Yea, that is ironic. You are apparently king of irony. You should name yourself "Troll" and make your avatar one of those tall haired dolls from the 90's.

If my name was nosalt, and people caught me adding salt do my dishes, they would call me on it. Just as i'm calling you on your drama.

If the purpose of a forum is to start arguments with strangers, than you are correctly using it. I always thought it was to share information in a peaceful way. I guess i just dont understand. Would you expect me to with my "lack of gorm"?

Obviously you don't understand or you wouldn't be in the Politics section, which if you hadn't noticed is a opinion section that can in no way "Help" anyone. My polemic style of debate has nothing to do with my user name, your attempt to undermine that fact is feckless at best. By bringing up the subject unprovoked YOU,sir, are the one creating the drama. While the cognitive dissonance to this fact escapes you it surely does not do so to me.

bombastic.......is that one in ur thesaurus? lol

but seriously, regulations frequently exist to protect us from ourselves. as if we need it. Thats part of whats wrong our government. the law of survival according to washington: the weak survive (and breed like hell) while the strong are left not only to fend for themselves but to also support the weak.

Bottom line stupid people shouldn't breed.

Not only is that demonstrably untrue but it's cruel as well. In the long run stupid parents have smarter kids and vice versa.

Your comment would only make ANY SENSE AT ALL if you were FORCED to accept whatever wage they gave you and were forced to take the job. If the job only paid $.25 an hour and the living standard was the same as it is now, how many people do you think would take the job? Zero? Maybe? You think? Guess what would happen? The employer would be forced to increase his paid wage to entice a person to contract with him.

You ever negotiate a salary with a prospective employer before? Or did you just always take what they put on the table?
Negotiate a salary, pshaww, I worked Union, they negotiated for me and believe me when I say I made a hell of a lot more than any non-union guy in the same trade. Salary negotiations are basically the area of corporate managers, and I wouldn't take one of those jobs on a bet. Outside of a couple of businesses that I've owned, I always worked union, When the average wage in a trade was 12.00 an hr, Union workers got 15.00 an hr., we payed about 25 cents an hr. to the union, but got better everything, wages, benefits, medical, retirement, I get a pension from my years as a teamster. I didn't work there long enough to get a substantial one, but a driver that put in 20 years in local 631 got over 2500.00 a mo., Not bad for a dumb ass truck driver, eh?
BTW, you're full of crap, the employers, having all the prospective employees they could ever need would certainly cut the minimum wages. You guys that say remove the minimum wage rule and wages would go up are just outright liers and full of crap up to your ears.
Our local McDonalds gets between 15-25 applications a day for minimum wage jobs. You think if they cut wages to 6.00 an hr. all the employees would quit and no-one would accept a job there, bullshit.
6.00, 5.00, 4.00, an hr. beats the hell out of Zero.

If everyone were making $1 an hour, prices of everything would reflect that fact. New Lexus would cost $5,000, gasoline would be 2 bits a gallon. Also the dollar would have about 20 times the purchasing power it does now. The reason they have to keep upping the min wage is to take into account all the currency debasement that is a constant factor in any fiat currency/debt society. It isn't about helping anyone, just keeping them in their place is all.
