I highly doubt he could get the Republican nomination. GOP voters are largely retards (although not as retarded as Democrat voters). What bothers me is that he is an honest guy and says he won't run independent or for the Libertarians (and since he is honest, I believe he won't). I would love to see him run independent after he doesn't get the nomination. The money would still be rolling in and he could have a better chance. I would like to see him being what he is - separated from the establishment. Running as a Republican makes him a cog in the system, not as much separated from it.

What he said was he wouldn't run as an Indendant because he didn't have the millions of dollars it requires. AFter the 'record breaking' fund raiser this may change. He hasn't said he will. things are changing. VV

Alan Keyes was on Hannity last night ... and as usual, he was awesome.
An Alan Keyes, Ron Paul ticket as Independents would look mighty good to me. Can't you just imagine these two guys teaming up for the final debates. Ha! Hillary, Obama, Edwards, or whom ever else gets the Democrat nomination would look like intellectual lightweights compared to these two. Same-o, same-o for the Republicans. Vi

And, I would bet my next harvest that you have never read one of Ron Paul's books. And yet you come in here like a fuckin' bull in a china shop and try to tear down the posts of those who have read the man, and of those who know the difference. Again, Med ... you are blowing a one-note horn. Vi

for real. Ron Paul is a candidate, a man, like any of the others. He happens to be part of the Republican party, because well, to succeed in THIS country you need to pick one and there are really only two choices. Being with a party doesn't make him less of a man, nor less of a candidate. He has really great viewpoints and I think he would be the best president out of all the others. Therefore I will vote for HIM, no matter what party he chooses to run under. I think adding Keyes would make him a hands down victor. Big up yourself.
