The enitire show is worth watching, I am not sure how to do that other than buying the dvd, World oil peaked in the 70's, its not rocket science to see the steady rise in World Oil Price since then. Generally when a price continues to rise it means demand is outstripping supply, the Worlds population is growing presently at 90 million per year, Under developed nations are catching up, Imagine when all the Chinese stop riding Bicycles and want a car to keep up with the Jones's.

This thread was started not to talk about the fact that Oil is not cheap or not going to get cheaper when Iraq Oil comes on line, But to high light an existing WORLD catastrophy.
There are alternate technologies available, we just need to create a DEMAND for them, that would be a better way to tell the Oil cartels to go fuck their camels and in the process create new industries not so reliant on crude oil and that will hopefully mean Man can continue to exist for another couple of hundred years or more, without having to Invade other countries, rape and pillage their resources so America and its allies can continue to be the envy of the World.

Those Oil cartels are way too powerful for us to tell them to go fuck themselves. They have more money than anyone can imagine. I am afraid that we'll have to wait for oil to run out for them to go away.
