| | Just in case you forgot. | | The 2003 invasion of Iraq, which began on March 18 to May 1, 2003, was led by the United States, (A 90 percent unilateral invasion) backed by British forces and smaller contingents from Australia and Poland. Other countries were involved in its aftermath. The invasion launched the Iraq War, which is ongoing. The objectives of the invasion, according to U.S. President George W. Bush, were "to disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction [WMD], to end Saddam Hussein's support for terrorism, and to free the Iraqi people."[9] Bush said the actual trigger was Iraq's failure to take a “final opportunity” to disarm itself of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons that U.S. and coalition officials called an immediate and intolerable threat to world peace. No such weapons were found. In January 2005, the Iraq Survey Group concluded that Iraq had ended its WMD programs in 1991 and had no WMD at the time of the invasion; although some misplaced or abandoned remnants of pre-1991 production were found, U.S. government spokespeople confirmed that these were not the weapons for which the U.S. "went to war". The invasion of Iraq was opposed by some traditional U.S. allies, including France and Germany. Their leaders argued there was no real evidence of WMD and that a war in Iraq was not justified in the context of UNMOVIC's February 12, 2003 report. Between January 3 and April 12, 2003, 36 million people took part in almost 3,000 protests against the Iraq War.[citation needed] In preparation for the invasion, 100,000 U.S. troops were assembled in Kuwait by February 18.[10] The United States supplied the vast majority of the invading forces, but also received support from Kurdish troops in northern Iraq. And we're still there |

| | One thing that sticks in my mind is "Why didnt the US just plant the so called "WMD'S" in a covert operation?" that would have at least garnered some credibility. I mean if they have the nouse and stealth required to take down the Trade Towers, how hard would it be to place some canisters of Anthrax and Nerve Gas in strategic locations and make a discovery to announce to the World.

It has really made an Oxymoron out the Term "American Intelligence"

| | Or maybe they were still gift wrapped complete with proof of purchase dockets from the US, dated Sept 1980 when they were sold to the Iraqis to use against the Iranians.

It has really made an Oxymoron out the Term "American Intelligence" | You've uncovered the fact, American intelligence is an oxymoron, especially when reviewed by Morons, Bushies. It was the war contractors and big oil that ultimately took this oligarcic government and hence it's youth as cannon fodder to war. What it will take to stop it besides a Ron Paul or clone, I have no clue. Money talks and bull.... well you know the rest. |

| | It is all starting to play out now, the NWO, the EU v The US and its allies, the reason most of the EU block would not support the war is because they didnt have to, Their economy is sound, has a vision for the future, has energy a little more under control, it is little more than a grab for the remaining large deposits of Oil. We are still waiting for our share of the plunder down here. At the Moment our Fuel price is $1.35 per litre compared to the US of $.94 (Converted from gallon price).
