Default What if Ron Paul took intellectual steriods?
He'd morph into this guy:

Vi ole pal, Ron Paul is a long shot for president. Alan Keyes is something more, like a moon shot.

He would make a great running mate though. But two southerners on the same ticket? Aint happenin. Secretary of State, or Secretary of Labor might work out?

Just so we all understand, at this point in the election-cycle, Ron Paul has more support than Jimmy Carter or Howard Dean had. Probably about the same level of name recognition as Bubba Clinton had. So long shots do come home to roost.

"that muslim guy?" ... ~lol~ I got a laugh out of that one. He'll probably end up as Hillarious's running mate.

Ron Paul & Alan Keyes ... two constitutionalists who deserve far more recognition than they are getting.

That would be awesome. That would be an ideal Prez/V.P. combo. Maybe they could even steal some of the minority vote with Keyes on the ticket.

Vi, that aint happenin.

In every election cycle a small percentage of voters come out to vote against a candidate. According to Dick Morris, the last time I heard him mention this point, Hillda-beast is approach a 30 percent hate factor. The muslim guy is probably close to 20 pecent.

Hill's only chance is with the gal vote. Obama's only chance is the Oprah factor. Some pollsters speculate their gains help offset their losses in these strategies. Net result, probably zero.

The dems best chance this election cycle may be John Edwards, because he would likely pull votes from some republicans and independents.

Short answer, Hill and Obama together cannot reach a plurality. Seperately, with good running mates, perhaps.

Play this game with the repubs. Who would work out for Rudy as a running mate. That creates some wierd combos.

~lol~ ... good one, closet.

Here's something that's not being discussed in the Main Stream Media: The general consensus among the arrogant, left-wing outlets, is that Hillatoses is a shoe-in for the presidency ... or at least that some Democrat candidate will win. Take a look at the candidates. Who was the last president voted into office who came from the ranks of the senate? The present congress has an approval rating of about 12%. That includes the senate. Who among the Democrat candidates are setting themselves apart from the rest? No one ... They are all talking the very same game.

What's to keep the Republicans from taking back both the House and the Senate ... and taking the White House as well? Just a little food for thought.

I agree, but I'd rather see Keyes as President and Ron Paul as VP. The reason is, Alan Keyes is so much more articulate than Ron Paul in getting his points across. They both want the same things for the country, and IMHO, would make an awesome duo.

They both agree that we have a slave tax system. They both agree that the federal government is WAY to bloated and want to do away with all of the unconstitutional agencies. They both realize the benefits of honest money. They are both devotees of liberty and freedom. They both know who Adam Smith was. Sounds about right to me.
