well im not sure if this is the right forum for this. well my family is really political and they know whats going on around the world. Well my brother was telling me how Maxtor hard drives are manufactured in China. Well the chinesse government has been putting Trojans built in to the hard drives. Has anybody else heard about this?? i guess it is realtivly new and starting to surface. Thats fucked up. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Has anybody else heard about this? heres a link to the story on /.

Yep ... heard about it a few days ago and don't plan to by any of those hhds. If fact I'll try and stay away from any hhd made in China ...
