Default does mexico have a forth of july parade?
where's the American culture going. yes, we are a melting pot. made up of cultures of people from around the world. "we" came here and colonized America. made laws. laid out beliefs. Created a culture. where is it going? it seems we get labeled in bad ways if we refer to the "good ole days". i'm proud of my "heritage". who i am. the whole "leave it to beaver" beliefs that i was taught. it was all about respect and dignity. god i miss the US of A.

Howdy fdd....
You are lamentably, correct.
What has become of willing and eager assimilation on the part of newcomers to the US???
Seems to me that the majority of these people have NO desire to melt into the pot!!!
Sad!

The 4th of july parade is an everyday parade of Mexicans crossing the border. Thousands every day are slithering accross and they think We are prejudiced against Mexicans, Only the illegal ones that are bringing down wages and clogging the roadways with their insane driving habits. When did a redlight mean slow down? When did it become the norm to turn left from the right lane and visa-versa? I recently spent a week in Cabo-san-Lucas and drove the roadways in a little masda. The speed limit was around 80KM and the traffic varied from about 25KM to 160KM. Dump trucks going 85MPH on a two lane road with some stoned out idiot going 25MPH in front of him and him passing on a blind curve. That folks is what your friendly Mexican illegals bring to our roads. They drive shit cars so they can jump out and run if they crash into you. I say that Illegals should have a bounty placed on them, just like the scum rats they are, ~LOL~, this ought to illicit some raw comments, eh?

men used to tip their hats.

people said please and thank you.

we held doors open for each other.

gave up our place in line to the person who had fewer items.

smiled.

waved.

said "keep the change".

You just described my MO, fdd.

And, Mexico does have a 4th of July parade ... its called Cinco de Mayo. Unfortunately, they are now celebrating it, with Mexican flags waving, in the streets of downtown Los Angeles.

I see these shitheads on a daily basis, in their beat up run down work vans with 40 folding ladders bungee corded to the top or their broke down landscaping dumptruck towing a shitty trailer with 15 lawn mowers on the back, crammed with 8 or 9 idiots on a single bench seat.

I have been to Tijuana 3 times and I have heard more English spoken down there than I do on a daily basis at the 7 eleven down the street from me.

You can always tell who the illegals are because they drive 5 miles below the speed limit, at least.

I am not against Mexicans, the ones that live in Mexico. The ones that come here thinking we owe them a living can die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.

And thats another thing fuck Cinco de Mayo.

I also thought it was humerous that they boycotted spending for a day last year or something like that. Oh no, I think the Goya Isle at the supermarket took a hit.
