Who could hate that it was awesome "Exercise a cure for depression" I agree with that one....

It's hard to compete with McDonalds. My grandkids mother has so mind-fucked my grandkids that McDonalds is their favorite eatery. Being one of the laziest persons on the planet,(My step-daughter), has solidified a diet of junk food for my grandkids for life. That and the incessant advertising and direction towards kids. McDonalds has long ago figured out that if you hook them young, you have them for life. I don't know what is in the meat at McDonalds, but it tastes like cardboard. It must be something in the secret sauce that is addicting,, because if you went off the quality of the burger, you'd never eat there again. Just what is in that secret sauce anyway? I refuse to eat anything from mickey "D"s except the egg McMuffin, and the seniour coffee, it's hard to fuck up an egg.

Haters? Why? Because we want accountablity in government? Because we wish to recuse a great lady (America) in distress? Because we want war criminals brought before justice?

I have to agree with Maher's on this issue. It is one of the main reasons weed is demonized and kept illegal.

Think of all the things pot can help with medically. That would cut into their profits and we can't have that now can we?

I saw that show the other night. Maher is exactly right on this issue. One of the keys to reducing obesity and Type-2 obesity, and the answer to Med's question about what McDonald's puts into the sauce, is to get High Fructose Corn Syrup out of your diet. Not only is the stuff addicting, but it suppresses your insulin level and doesn't allow the brain to release the chemical that tells the body that you're full. We've had HFCS in our diets for only the past thirty years. It was developed by the food processors who were looking for an alternative to sugar. It was thirty years ago that the federal government placed a very high tariff on sugar being imported into this country from abroad. That drove the price of domestic sugar through the roof, thanks to the sugar lobby and our corrupt politicians in Washington. So, like all government programs, we are facing the unintended consequences today with our obesity and Type-two diabetes problem.
