| | Here's an interesting report about faux news | | Study Finds Widespread Misperceptions on Iraq Highly Related to Support for War
The polling, conducted by the Program on International Policy (PIPA) at the University of Maryland and Knowledge Networks, also reveals that the frequency of these misperceptions varies significantly according to individuals’ primary source of news. Those who primarily watch Fox News are significantly more likely to have misperceptions, while those who primarily listen to NPR or watch PBS are significantly less likely. What did I tell ya ... faux news is nothing more than propaganda ... to think it's a news organization is a joke ... they are at their best when misleading the public ... but that's their job isn't is ... in that ... they do a good job. |

I mean, if one doesn't march in lock-step politically with NPR or PBS, one is misperceiving? ~lol~ Both NPR and PBS are known for the left leaning slant of their programming. That's my point about Fox News and why the left hates it so much. See, the Birkenstock Gang considers the leftist views of the MSM to be centrist, so it stands to reason that they would also think that centrist political thought would be right wing propaganda. Vi

| Dazzel them with confusion. You are so far right that anything you say must be interpreted by a fascist translater before making any kind of sense.

| | I love that my post has gotten so long, but i still think we have lost the original issue, which I would like to get back to.
and furthermore...Vi isn't a facist, he may be right left or center of political lines. He makes a good point about all news being skewed to look certain ways. Every peice of journalism is skewed to the authors point of view. It's not about actually reporting the "eternal truth" of an event, it's about the news outlet reporting what it observes through it's own view.
medicineman your right also, faux news is garbage but I still watch it. Not becuase I like it or agree with the way they present the world around them, but so that I can compare it to all the other imput i take in. Any well informed person will take in all the information they can and then form an opinion. You can't boil journalism and all the news into just faux news, everyone skewes so get over it.
play nicely...
now back to the original issue please, What the fuck about the kurds? it is a vary important issue most of the world seems to be ignoring. US terrorism? or freedome fighters?
I'm thinking that the bush administration is helping them and that they should cruise missle the white house, at least that's what we do to terrorist sponsors right? |

| According to the people in the study ... can't you read? The difference between faux news and PBS is they don't report blantant lies as news .... Boy confesses to starting California fire that FOX News claimed Al-Qaeda started Now will fauxnews print a retraction of their lie as would any reputable news organization ... hell no ... they never do ... you have been watching faux for so long your braincells have died and you can no longer see the obvious. |

| | ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ | | No it doesn't but faux news has been running stories suggesting Al Qaeda started the Wildfires ... Fox News Runs With Al Qaeda Wildfires Conspiracy Theory
Neocon mouthpiece channel Fox News continues to run programming today suggesting that Al Qaeda terrorists may have infiltrated the US and started fires in California that have devastated acres of land and have forced one million people from their homes over the past week.
So, please tell me how "The Toilet" (what "Al Qaeda" means in Arabic slang) knew that Bush had slashed fire prevention funding thereby turning Southern California into a gigantic BBQ waiting to be lit?
Because what made these fires disasters is not that they started, but that the fire prevention measures intended to control such fires were cut to pay for the war, just as the New Orleans levees were left unrepaired.
This pathetic (even for FOX) attempt to place the blame on "The Toilet" sets a new low of mainstream yellow journalism. - M. R. |

| | I will most assuredly agree with most every anti-FOX post on this forum, and disagree with most every VI-Redd post. It is the nature of common sense.
