John McCain is a self professed moderate, progressive republican. That's about as close as you can get to being democrat without actually being democrat. Nearly all of these politicians who have or want to run for president really need that hispanic vote so "espousing" amnesty while doing nothing to actually make it happen is a pretty good strategy to insure their vote.![]()

I do not Fear the government itself. I agree that government is a good thing. There certainly is the need to govern the people. But I believe it should be done so in a just manor. I understand that in order for government to govern, money is needed and is attained through forms of revenue such as police, fire dep... Library…etc. I do not fear these forms of government revenue, I agree they are positive and are needed. I do not fear government programs designed to help and protect. I do fear a government mandated institution previously implemented and proven not to work in more than one situation. I do fear particular people’s involvement in our government. People who have lost touch with the people….the high class sustaining their positions… Agree or not there is a high level of corruption in our government. I certainly don’t want these people making decisions for me or my family. There are certain levels of involvement and too much of anything can be bad, even the herb, besides I don’t believe that our politicians plan for the people has much of the people’s benefit involved… It can be prettied up and presented, but the inside of the whole thing is awful ugly, like it or not. Dishonest and selective editing of my posts won't redeem you, Choad.
It is clear to everyone here exactly what you are: A goosestepping partisan who will tolerate no deviation from the party line.
I am willing to help your party achieve a common goal, but you would drive me away.
In point of fact you are more of a threat to the Conservative movement than I am.
The right to privacy holds regardless of the size of government.Amendment IV
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause by Oath or Affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
And the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land.
Which means individual states cannot arbitrarily discriminate based on sexual orientation.
Denying someone the same privilege granted to another person based on bigotry is dictating the specifics.
I said nothing of the sort. But dictating to a woman what she can or cannot do to her body in the context of a medical decision (abortion) is invasive nonetheless.
It has no place in the public square. Religion is a private affair.
If you want to believe in magical, invisible, zombie friends; that's fine with me. I have a right not to be subjected to it in the halls of government.

The govt. is good when it stays within it's boundaries.
That is not the govt. we have today...not at all.
This is an all out attack on our liberties and freedom. It must not stand... it will not stand.
I think what MAY happen is passive resistance at first.
If millions of ppl refuse to participate in the health care welfare program.....it will collapse.
I will be one of those ppl. I will NOT participate. I will NOT pay any fines either....I'd rather give my lawyer 100k than a dime to the health care welfare program.
