The Dems and Obama Saved our Country From Financial Collapse

Say what you will about the stimulus bill. And while nobody is saying it was perfect, our economy would be truly f*cked without it.

So while the Republicans were doing their macho thing by voting against the stimulus bill, Obama and the Demies were doing the right thing by preventing our country from going into another depression.

The Republicans were quite prepared to do nothing! If you think things are bad now, how about another 5-10 million out of work? That is almost certainly where we would be if it were not for Obama, the Demies, and the Stimulus.

By the way, this is not just lib talk on my behalf. Virtually ANY economist (conservative or liberal) will tell you that the stimulus spared us from financial collapse.

So, if you were lucky enough to keep your job, thank the Demies, Obama, and the Stimulus. If you were unfortunate like me, lost your job and still are looking, know that things are getting better and you WILL find work.

The Republicans with all their hateful partisanship would have said screw you to the American people, all the while taking care of themselves and their special interest.

Agreed. That is why Obama, Biden and other Demies are getting the truth out. And they need to keep it up lest the Republican campign of lies, deception, obstructionism, and unbridled partisanship ruin this country.

So when the stimulus spending ends and the crash is far worse than it would have been without the stimulus, you'll of course admit it was an abject failure? The Stimulus and Tarp did the one and only thing they could do, delay the inevitable.

It's not the Democrat's or the Republican's fault, the responsibility lies firmly on the shoulders of the Progressives in both parties. We would be far better off and probably through the worst of it by now if they had just let it crash.

No more evidence needed than our own history, the ALMOST depression of the 20's where our government didn't try to spend their way out of it and the GREAT DEPRESSION where they did. Simple history... as long as you aren't swallowing the revisionist history the Progressive pukes are trying to feed our youth.
