Has it ever occured to you that the method of enforcing intrusive laws that affect your financial privacy is done through the social security number?

But I really wasn't referring to banks ... I was referring to the intrusive income tax laws and the 20-plus BILLION dollars the private sector spends each year in order to comply with the 6500 pages of the IRS code.

Stop eluding the issue, Med. In one breath you say you are against government intruding into our banking information, then turn right around and say, in essence, that the Social Security Number isn't intrusive. That doesn't square.

It's a viscious circle, not a square. How would we know how much you are hoarding without a referance #. We must keep track of greedy fucks like you. The SS # has been around for a long time now, and hasn't been used for much of anything as nefarious as you would have us believe, how would you know who was who without some kind of referance #. It's all about your precious Money, nothing else much matters to you, does it? Does the name Scrooge have any special meaning to you?

The Social Security Number is far more than just an ID number so you can get your SS checks each month, Med.

Do you expect more of me than your self, I'm sure you can't believe all the rhetoric you post, or else you have a serious problem. If you notice, my posts are consistent. They espouse smaller, less intrusive government. That's the theme in the VAST majority of my posts. Simple as that. I admit, I tend to use a LOT of humor in my posts though ... and sorry to say, sometimes the humor is mistaken by you to be, I don't know what. All I know is that my humor tends to piss you off. I don't know why that is, other than you don't like to be disagreed with. Other than that, you seem to be an OK guy ... well, except for the personal attacks. Those are just plain not nice.

Oh, and I almost forgot ... you have a very hard time staying on topic in this forum too. As a result, these threads wander all over the place ... just like this one. *lol*
