Of course all the old people want free for them health care, they are on Social Security which now will not even grow with inflation. Old folks know that SS is going to screw them silly and the only way for them to survive is to keep health care costs down. Med the enslaver is all for it, he doesn't have to pay shit. Live off the hard work of others because he did not have the foresight to take care of his future while he still had the chance in his younger years. But of course Med will not even use it unless it is more convenient than the VA hospital, because he already has all his care paid for, but now its paid for twice.

Lets dissolve SS, offer an optional thrift savings plan where each individual has his/her money in a account where the gov cannot spend it. Also, people who receive welfare should be required to give back to the community in the form of volunteering/community service. Were trillions in debt, only a moron would think the creation of a massive gov program which will run over budget because they always do is a good thing. Illegals should not receive gov assistance and tax dollars should not go towards abortions.

The truth is very simple. The system as it is sucks, i think we can all agree on that.
The reason that the system sucks so bad is because the system is run by business' whose only concern is making as much $ as possible. ( I have nothing against a businees making $, I own a business; im not a communist)

The only way for them to make $ is by charging more in fees than they pay out in claims. Its simple.

Most people have employer based insurance. Meaning that they have that 1 option if they want health insurance.
The only choice is:

1. buy this insurance, you cant shop around, its all we can offer.
2. Go uninsured

We already subsidize the insurance companies, i'd rather subsidize health care that works than private insurance companies that don't provide adequate care.
If the insurance companies offer such great service and value then why cant they compete against a government option or even themselves?

As for AARP backing the bill, that's funny as shit. I mean imagine that, AARP backing "death panels" and such
