We have a situation here in our state that lawmakers don't like. They keep beating a drum about how mmj caregivers are just simply providing mj and not providing any other care to their patients. Well, if you have ever cultivated and harvested mj you know that this is a daunting task in itself requiring more effort than most conventional medical care providers perform in regards to their patients. They insinuate that we should be grocery shoppers, massage therapists and other various service providers. This is ridiculous to me as I am an mmj patient with severe medical conditions and I can tell you with all honesty that my primary care physician would not recognize me if he walked past me on the street. I'll note that he has been my physician for almost 20 yrs. My local pharmacist has no idea who I am, all they see is the name on the prescription. If they put forth as much effort on a daily basis as a mmj caregiver does to facilitating the needs of their patients then the argument would be sound. Do you feel that this is the case in regards to the efforts expended? It is an enormous task which takes a great deal of committment & passion. Any comments????
