A lawyer friend of mine told me of a case in which the cop's dash board recording was brought into court by the defense to show that the driver never swerved as the cop claimed. The Judge saw the evidence and simply didn't care.

Laws vary in different states but never admitting to drinking anything is the first line of defense. Also, there are other tricks you can learn about on line. If you get a fair judge these can help - if you get a Nazi maybe not.

Also know that cops have special flashlights that sniff alcohol so you want to roll down the windows prior to stopping crank the air and answer yes or no only.

And never under any circumstances be fooled into advocating your own loss of liberty like 90% of the idiots out there.

Whatever you do, do not take the field sobriety tests...and do not do the blood test, unless you are pretty sure youre under the limit. The urinalysis and breath test are both pretty inaccurate, which could mean you'd test over the limit even if you really aren't...but the innacuracy of test can be a good argument for you in court. If you blow a .09, there is a chance you could get off with a decent lawyer...anything more than that you should probably just accept your punishment, as a lawyer costs upwards of $1000

hahahaha i would have been beat a couple of time that i was let off!!! haha it is a good idea though put your physical safety in danger if you are caught driving with a .15% or more BAC. It seems fair because at that point you are risking the safety of others so you deserve to be beat... lol... although .15 is almost the perfect BAC because in my experience, (according to the police report) .249% is enough to put you in jail for the night... (luckily it was a drunken in public and not a DUI) although it truly blows to wake up on the top bunk an have to blow chunks.... not to mention not remembering how it was you got to jail to begin with

I'm sure that you know then when you apply for a driver's liscence here in GA you sign a document that states if you refuse to tak ANY feild sobriety tests including and BAC, blood or urine tests, that you are subject to an automatic one year liscence suspension that is labeled DUI Related... you may not actually get a DUI but if the cop wants to you will get the equivalent at minimum.

Not true, field sobriety test are 100% voluntary. You do have to take a test once you are brought into the station.

I DO NOT, EVER, EVER, FORFEIT MY TEN CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. No matter what I sign or agree to or w/e.
