The "Common" law that is prevalent throughout the world for the most part and is understood is basically this" Do no Harm to others nor cause another loss". Even if there were no written laws, that common one would still be enforced. For those people who think that if somehow the human mind was not repelled by killing others that we would have people getting killed all the time. Hate to tell you, but the Human Phsyche does not work that way. You have no idea how much intestinal fortitude it takes to kill another human being. Its not like flipping a light switch or something. Kill someone and it will haunt you for the rest of your life, whether it was justified makes no difference to ones mind. Knowing that you have taken a life and taken something away from everyone who was associated with that life will never feel right in your heart.

There are people who are mentally screwed up who would kill people whether it was illegal or not. They still do, ever wonder why serial killers are not scared of laws against murder?

sounds good on paper. try telling that to a few million radical muslims. i would tell them BEFORE they saw your head off with a rusty sword though. its much more effective than waiting till after they cut your head off.

speak for yourself...if there was no law against murdering someone..a lot of people would be dead and I would not lose a moment of sleep...You really don't know me so again speak for yourself and thank God that we have Government to make laws that makes murder illegal...Let me give you a quick example... Had a guy move in to our neighborhood got caught molesting a freakn 8 year old girl..do you think for one moment I would not murder that son of a bitch if it was not illegal to do so...hell I would try to bring him back to life so I could murder his azz again and again and again

You wouldn't have killed him, because it is against mans law, even if there was no government existing it would still be against the law. For some reason you think that things can only be "bad" or "illegal" if government makes a law making it so. Killing is wrong, even if your government says it is a good thing to do it is still wrong and against MAN'S law. If there were no law against taking new born babies and putting them into a meat grinder would london still do it, just because gov said it was ok to do so? Do you see how your logic does not work here london? I don't need gov to tell me what is wrong and what is right, I already know. Others apparently need to be told how to conduct every aspect of their existence.
