it's the newest craze that is sweeping the world. far more pervasive than the beatles or the twist, this latest fad of finding our doom in every facet of our lives isn't likely to go away all on its own. this isn't just about selling t-shirts and getting you to run out and buy the latest novelty, it's about giving up and accepting the inevitability of our own destruction. give up your car, your refrigerator, your hopes and dreams of creating a better life. don't eat, don't move, don't even breath. the industry that allows us to do more than just survive is entirely to blame and it all must stop or we are doomed!

inane notions like ".....people’s attitudes would evolve until meat eating became unacceptable." seem to make turning back the clock as easy as pie. just wipe away thousands of years of evolution with nothing more than the power of public opinion and all our problems will simply disappear. halt our progress and create a stagnant society that would make even the most fervent luddite cringe. drive us back to those bucolic days when life was simpler, when peasants toiled in the fields and feudal lords held dominion over all they surveyed, when mud huts were all the rage and a convenient plague could easily eradicate that pesky overabundance of serfs.

then we go on to equate eating meat to drinking and driving. what ludicrous oversimplification is this? i suppose we could also compare decline of that quaint practice of raping and pillaging your way through neighboring hamlets with a push for abolishing private gun ownership. exactly the same thing, right? we're going off the deep end folks and the price we are going to pay is servitude to idiots like this. they have constructed a model that suits the purpose of global dominion and they're running with it for all it's worth.

i haven't taken the time to peruse the article, but we really don't have to bother. we all can see it, we're all living it. green this, green that, green cars, green food, green lives. with the speed of light, green has taken the world by storm. no one can say a word against it, because that would be insane. we all love green, right?

Obama administration aid to spur demand for more fuel- efficient autos is luring companies including General Motors Co. and Nissan Motor Co. into the electric-car push. The result may be a supply of new vehicles that outstrips demand, said Michael Omotoso, a senior manager for J.D. Power & Associates in Troy, Michigan.
“The U.S. government is saying we’ll have 1 million electric vehicles on the road by 2015; we’re saying it will take three to five years longer,” Omotoso said. “Realistically, manufacturers could be selling 80,000 to 100,000 by 2015.”

Thats exactly what I have thought this whole "Green" thing was about. Bringing the people of the world backwards into the feudal society that existed 600 years ago. Those were lovely days full of joy for everyone, so joyous they gave such names as "The Dark Ages" to them. China and India are the 2 fastest growing polluters on the planet and the 2 most populous and they will not even make an appearance in Denmark, let alone sign their wealth away.

To sign is to become a complete welfare state that has no middle class at all. Everyone except the top 5% will be poor and reliant on government for everything. Its what they want.
