I must apologize for a number of my posts the other day. They were very offensive and rude. I was in a very bad mood and forgot to remember what I learned in Kindergarten.

I was rude to Oregon Meds and Jimmy Pot. And to all those who were reading.

My husband has banned me from posting replies for awhile.
My replies were so bad that I got a warning from the administrator of this site. It was well deserved and just.

So please forgive me for being foul the other day to and in front of all of you reading posts in the Political forum.

Liberalism does seem to be a thing that goes well with youth - lots of idealism and good intentions, but not always practical. Another factor though, is that conservatives, by nature, are fearful of change (except changes that take us back in time... changes that reverse a previous change). So, it's no surprise that you don't see many young conservatives getting more liberal as they get older.

I agree that a strong national defense is good, but diplomacy has its place too. There you go again over simplifying things.


Comparing radical christians to radical muslims is another case of hyperbolic oversimplification; something we sure see a lot of from dedicated partisans on both sides (and a LOT of it here on RUI). (It's a lot like comparing Obama to Hitler or Stalin). Sure, radical christians are a scary bunch of idiot-zealots, but not nearly as bad as their muslim counterparts IMO. They do seem similar fundamentally - a bunch of intolerant wing-nuts who justify their actions with a collection of kooky fairy tales.

The meaning behind that quote was totally misunderstood I think. More people were killed by born in the USA extremists most of them radical cristians than by muslims here prior to 911 and nobody said shit about it or called it terrorism or instituted a green orange red threat level or created a department of abortion doctors protection services or asked people to watch out for anyone carrying a bible and a rosary driving a van near a bridge or building.

Around 10% of the World's 1.3 billion Muslims are estimated to hold radical views - that is 130 million. Muslims have committed dozens of acts of terror on US interests and around the World. There was the first WTC bombing, the USS Cole, the Marine barracks in Beirut - the list is quite long. And there have been numerous Americans killed in attacks in Israel.

And that was following the Carter administration which was the worst time since the great depression.

Yes actually it could. People could have rioted and torn half the major cities apart, we could be standing in food lines, banks could be closed because of runs on the banks and running out of cash when everyone pulled their money out.

Don't laugh, after 8 years of bush had those repub numbnuts won again it would have been like april 25th 1992, there was a riot on the streets tell me where where you?
