There is an old and very true saying in the south. Gun country is polite country. If a criminal goes into a NYC apartment, he knows that more than likely the owners will get on their knees and beg for their lives. That same criminal drives into a rural southern town, he knows there is a very good chance that he will be fired upon by the owners. Guess which victim he chooses?

Gun country is polite country.
now your talking distinction between urban and rural. as a rule the rural is always much much safer than the city and shit happens whether its in the cities or not. its just in the cities its much more frequent (much in part due to pop and conditions) the traveling criminal is different to the norm tho and i'd guess guns or not if you wanted to you could easily get to who ever you wanted (who didnt have a full body guard unit)
i dunno man i've always felt safe with out even feeling like i needed a gun. i just cant see the more guns will stop guns mentality. how could it stop?

Oh it works in any city which has the populace armed. Most big cities are run by Democrats however, so it isn't easy.

When the criminal KNOWS ur unarmed.... watch out.

Create a "gun free zone" and if anything happens (like a nut ignoring the gun free zone sign )....you've condemned many innocents to harm.

Not all are innocents

Some will have piles of stones

I believe a firearm is good in cases where rock fights escalate

while fighting zombies.
