Default It's the Economy, Pot Head!
... and not just "weed" but hemp. we're the only industrialized country in which it's illegal to industrialize hemp. If you're like me, you live in a town where countless empty factories and shops occupy spaces where the free market flourished and miles of land that's no longer being used, for agriculture or development or otherwise. You know dozens, if not more, people who are literally starving for work. You yourself may be in that very situation. Many of you grow because you can no longer afford not to. Image our world where millions of Americans are back at work, busy doing jobs that can't be outsourced. Farmers growing miles upon miles of herb and all those they'll have to hire to harvest it. Imagine the demand for technological innovations to improve efficiency and cost and the jobs that alone would create. Image having hemp, in all its practicality, introducing another aspect of competition into our even expanding market. Americans would not only have the opportunity to make world class products but take pride in all they produce that will be stamped, "Made in America." We all know the history of herb and how it came to be illegal for production in this free Union. It's time we take our freedom back. How is it we are forbidden to let grow a plant that would harmlessly thrive naturally otherwise? How is it we are forbidden to use a plant given to us by our creator that has never directly killed anyone? How is it that our gov't, which has conducted two presidentially appointed studies which proved its harmlessness and usefulness but whose studies' findings were denied by said presidents who appointed said studies to, uh... um, oh, to not bring to the market the very substance that said studies said were harmless and useful? It's time, my fellow consumers, that we take a stand. Honest to God, write your damn representatives and let them know YOU ARE NOT A CRIMINAL!!! How?! easy! go here-----> https://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtml and simply tell your representative that you would support him if he backed legislation that DECRIMINALIZED the possession and production of hemp and marijuana. Even express your willingness to give up tax dollars on said products (they love that shit!) and whether or not she or he complies or even replies NO NOT tell them they can ( they don't like that shit!) It's time for us to embrace the spirit of our founders and take our country back! We can no longer afford to be silent on such a blatant display of congressional abuse. Stand up for your rights or sit when you're told. Speak up or shut up. out. war in. word to your mother. make em say uh.

I'm SiqNasti and that's my word.

Better yet: contact Senator Jim Webb and let him know you support his efforts for criminal justice reform S. 714 a bill to establish the National Criminal Justice Commission http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bssQue...ON+ACT+OF+2009

http://webb.senate.gov/email/criminaljusticereform.html

Contact your own representative and encourage them to co-sponsor this legislation.
