Just heard On TV that Petreas is going to recommend the troops stay untill spring, any surprises here? I thought not. With 50,000 troops on Prozac, this ought to add a few thousand more to the drug. What are we going to call those poor souls, War Zombies? They'll most likely be stuck on medication for the rest of their lives.

Well you won't find this in any newspaper or on TV, But my friends nephew that came home on leave and begged to not go back told his mother that they pumped him full of prozac and shipped him back a week before he died. He also told her that the medic told him that upwards of 50,000 troops in Iraq were pumped up on prozac to calm them down, thus, war zombies. He said that speed was readily available to keep you sharp on missions, you know, the hunt for IEDs.

The "owners" of the prisons are you, me, and all the other citizens of this country. As those "owners," we delegate our responsibilities to bureaucrats and other government officials, like the cops, District Attorneys, grand juries, judges and those who run the prisons. Through those entities, we the "owners" ARE deciding who should go to jail and who should not. This is a POSITIVE thing, GK ... after all, one of the few legitimate functions of government is to protect the rights & property of the citizens, no?
