No, they wouldn't because then it truly would be only a religious institution. Marriage as it stands today is a civil institution regardless of a person's religious affiliation. By choice, a person can choose to validate that marriage religiously as well.

Example... Do you see people running to off to get baptized and confirmed by the church just so they can "take" it away from those people it actually means something to? Um...no.

Good question. Many psychologists believe that homophobia stems from an insecurity with one's own sexuality, or deep seeded fear of one's own latent homosexuality...makes sense to me.

The insecurity that gays feel, because they don't fit into the family unit most of them grew up in, is the reason they continue to seek acceptance.

It's only since 1967 that this silly gay debate has been going on, and starting around the late 1980's anyone who disagrees is labeled a homophobe, or a gay basher.

What do you call a angry mob who attacks a little old lady, and stomps her cross under foot. Hero's, progressives? I call em thugs, who have issues with their own sexuality, and whom are upset because everyone doesn't approve of their behavior.


This just proves gays can be as hateful and violent as anyone esle.

I don't look for public approval, of my private life, so what makes gays thing they are so special? Insecurity. They can't accept themselves, as they are, and trying to force everyone else to accept it won't change those feelings.

I'm not gay, I just think it is disgusting and immoral. Those gay people that are all feminine and "clean", behind closed doors, their performing the dirtiest act you can imagine. What's the point?
