Default Messege to all the new "independants/Republicans"

    I envy you.

I remember when I thought that all was out to ruin the country, and that there was nothing that the government wouldn't do to ruin itself.

I soaked up my propaganda like it was the nectar of the gods, and would never waste an opportunity to diminish the president, or any of his staff.

I would listen to the conspiracy theories (even though I would refuse to believe that they were) and never waste a moment to bring it up in a political discussion.

Yes I was and am a Dem, still to this day, the other guy of course was Bush. I used to look at all the news about his lies, and all the vacation days he took. Saw how he called Osama Bin Laden's cousin 'brother binder' and giving government bids to all of his old buddies. Or how the patriot act was stuffed with thousands of pages at 3 in the morning before the vote on it.

And that was not even the beginning of it.

But when I started to see the same things being applied to the new guy, I realized that there was a great consistency to what what being said.

All (maybe not all, but darn near all) the exact same things were being said about Obama that was said about Bush.

So sit back and enjoy this time of youthful angst, and feel the pride of being the ones that 'knows' everything about the Obama administration.

But when it is all said and done, just remember all that was said. Because chances are you will find 'your guy' in eventually and get to see the exact same responses that you had been using so often, come right back around at you.

And as you sit there and try to explain to the people throwing the slurs, I hope that you will then remember back at this time and realize that it is all bull.

Everything (well almost) is made up to diminish the 'other side' and get your side into office again.

I would say don't buy into the hype, but I know that is not possible, it is just too fun to do. And actually I think that it is good that you get into politics, whichever side it is.

Just remember when it comes around, and they are attacking your guy, and you see a lot of the same things being said that you had once said, or that you find yourself finding falsity after falsity when trying to rationalize with the 'other side', what is happening now.

And then you should be able to relax and see the system for what it is. Nobody is out to screw up the system.

Pick which things are most important for you and stick to those. And study the crap out of them, because it is very important to know the ins and outs of why you feel the way you do, because you might be surprised about how it actually works in the real world.

Ind/Rep. aren't against Obama. Ind/Rep. aren't against the democrats. They are against corruption and TERRIBLE policy.

Let's just look at Obama's biggest reform. Healthcare. If it passes, apart from causing even more debt, he still can't answer the question "How are the doctors going to handle 50 million new patients?"

They won't be able to. There will be a MASSIVE shortage of doctors. A lot of doctors are reaching retirement as well and say if Obamacare passes, they WILL retire.

You must not have been given this information on your news.

This is not true. We have enough doctors in the nation by a wide margin. That argument has been researched and debunked already. You may need to go back a month or so, but I have a huge post, lots of charts, and good sources (medical sites) that go over the system and how plenty we have to cover everyone.

Remember there are 330million people in America, and what 16 million more are going to get covered now? And of those, they had already been getting treatment when they need it, just at the cost of bankruptcy or walking out on a bill (either way we still pay for it as taxpayers), so in essence we are talking about covering about 5% extra.

And you may not think that they are against Obama, but most of these blog sites are set up and spoonfeeding this 'information' to you are by republican lobbyists. If you are willing to, look deeper into this, and you will see that almost everything that gets hurled around is pure bs. And who wins? The republicans, because if you think that the libertarians will come into power anytime soon, well, read my post above.

Give it a few years to a decade and you will see.

ACORN is not an issue here. Take your nuts somewhere else.

I bet you believe George Bush kept America safe, and Iraq was directly connected to Al'Quaeda.

Oh I am sorry I was using Fox news numbers. But if you want to use all 46 million, then it is even more benefitial to get all these people to start paying for themselves. Because we should not have to subsidize all these peoples emergency room and free clinic visits.

I do feel that America is safe from a nuclear attack as it stands. See I don't know how you look at geography, but we are separated by a huge ocean on either side of us.

So the countries that may be willing to send a nuke onto us, would have to have a seriously well developed nuclear weapon system, and there are a very few countries that have that. And guess what those countries that are able to are our very close trading partners.

And the whole getting a nuke into the country is fiction, and rantings of people that do not have a clue if this could be done or not.

So yes, I am not worried at all about a nuclear attack here in America.

I laugh at you calling me an indecent human being, wake up you are on a drug website. The very people that you look up to would crucify you if they met you and knew your habits. And because you don't seem to get it. Acorn does not matter in the least. If they go out of business, or not, it doesn't matter. You think that somehow pimps and ho's won't be around if Acorn is not getting funding? Seriously.

This whole post was a fig leaf to you. I appreciate that you are so ardent about politics. I think that you could actually be good for society. I don't even mind that you are so pumped full of misinformation, because you actually care!

This is why people that are 'communists' while in college, end up being good for society later in life when they realize that it doesn't work. Because through learning about it, and having to constantly argue how good it would be, and finally having to succumb to the fact that it is never going to work in anytime soon of our human evolution, because we are essentially lazy and greedy.

But all that work that they did that eventually opens up your eyes, ends up making you far smarter and better able to contribute than if you had not felt the way you did in the first place.

The old saying "you will understand when you get older" is still great.

Just keep it up man, and even if I get frustrated at times with having to say the same thing over and over again to debunk the bs you have heard, doesn't mean that I have any ill will towards you. I am just in the long run trying to help you realize that the world is a lot more close than people that talk politics ever want to admit.
