Conservative or Republican... Same as I want Vi to use the terms Democrat or Liberal.

Personally when it gets to name calling of the parties it takes the credibility out of the argument. I don't go around calling Libertarians Losertarians. (because they haven't won a national election yet)

Wow, you mean repuke is out, I can't live with that, I mean it fits them so well, you know like libobats, democraps etc. It's all in fun, whats the uptightness all about? And here's another question. How do you figure you own a thread. If you start a thread, does that mean all content is your responsibility, I think not. how could you control what others post, wouldn't that be a form of sensorship? I don't think you can ban someone from posting on your threads and for gods sake why would you want to. Isnt the bantering back and forth the whole purpose. I retain the right to calls em as I sees them.

Not that I own the thread, I started one yes, But I don't think that name calling the parties gets the point across as well as putting it across respectfully.

I think we can debate and be gentlemen about it. Yeah I know it's hard, but I think if we really tried we could all be capable of it.

Quite frankly, either one would suffice, it's all in jest anyway as we know by now, or should, that the assholes we are argueing with will never see it our way, so getting serious is useless. I really appreciate all the time and effort you put into your posts, and respect the content. In fact, if you notice, about 95% of the time I'm right with you. It's when the opposition start up with that right wing rhetorical crap that I start with calling bullshit. It makes my day to argue with these jerks, in fact I went to a right wing site just to give them shit, They banned me as they didn't have the balls to debate me, I still go there and post stuff to drive them crazy, Universal health care drives them insane. I request a mod, then give him shit, Makes my day. This is not the only site I abuse.

Thats funny. When I got pissed at this site and left a while back, My name was medicinaluseonly. when I came to my senses and realized I missed the banter here, I wanted to come back with a similar name, hence medicineman. I figured with a name like medicinaluseonly, if this was a bust site, I could claim I was a medicinal user and was only looking for advice. Medicineman was a handle applied to me back in my walk on water days. Those were some far out experiences. I'm really glad I had them, Kinda let me feel what the Indians felt before the white plague came down on them. You'd be amazed at what the human body can do under the right influences. Dodging bullets would definently be possible.

OK, now if you have a Republican that is a liberal, and a Democrat that's conservative, what shall we call these?

And, going along with the gist of the thread: As you two gentlemen probably have assumed by now, I listen to a lot of conservative talk radio. I can vouch for what 7x said ... the Republican Party is in a shambles. The good news for conservatives is, the troops are totally pissed off at those who are running the party. Take Bush for instance ... most who call themselves conservative are just sick over the huge amount of spending during his term. They are sick and tired of his lack of response regarding the illegal alien situation. Same with the Republican's in Congress. They have authorized the money to complete the fence along the southern border and have done virtually nothing with it. The Republican's lost control of the house and senate becasue of their NON-conservative ways. Either the Republican politicians will have to change their ways and become champions for a smaller, less intrusive government again, or they will be out of power for a very long time. Don't think the Democrats are in any better shape either. Congress' approval rating is below 20% at this time, and that's about half of Bush's rating.
