we'll all go on as normal. some of us will continue pointing out each step we take toward totalitarianism and others will meekly allow themselves to be subjugated by an ever more omnipotent and interfering state. some of us will continue to accept the pennies thrown at us by government programs, even though they are a pittance compared to what is stolen from us, and others will refuse these bribes, building a wall between themselves and the all-engulfing tide of authority run amok. some of us will continue to rely on ourselves and others will bind themselves to the good will of the state, not caring as the chains grow tighter and heavier. some of us will continue to be alert to the slow slide of our free society into slavery and others will merely fall deeper into their slumber, trusting that the liberal establishment is there to care for them just because they say so.

i'm no great fan of prison planet and its thousands of clones, but there has never been any doubt that government's tendency is to enslave the people and the people's duty is to keep government's ambitions in check. government seems to be doing its job quite well. i'm afraid the people are asleep at the wheel.

Change is what people voted for and that's what they're getting. I voted for president Bush and his presidency was nothing like what he campaign. Both parties do this and it makes me wonder if there is a higher source calling the shots.

Maybe a guy who did a little stint in the county pen, busted his knuckles changing a starter on some 1980's piece of shit car, stood in an unemployment line after getting laid off from a factory he slaved at for 20 years, hell, gimme a guy with a divorce and paying some child support. Gimme a guy who maybe has sat at the kitchen table with is head in his hands asking "What the fuck do i do now?"

Just remember, elected officials are working FOR YOU. They are getting paid by you. Your the boss, start calling shots or firing them. (Take that last sentence however the hell you feel like taking it)
