I agree 100%. Using a comparison to Hitler in order to make a point reeks of pathos - blind, biased, pathos. Comparing Bush or Obama to Hitler is unbelievable tenuous for argumentative purposes. If by comparing these guys to Hitler, you're trying to say they're persuasive and have a fervent following, then using any other example would support your interests better. MLK was persuasive and had a fervent following. So did Ghandi.

If you're trying to say that Obama or Bush was responsible for mass murder, then you're an idiot.

And if you're trying to state that Obama or Bush is using rhetoric for the purpose of orchestrating evil, then you're wrong.

So any reason for comparing Bush or Obama to Hitler is really quite ridiculous and exposes you for what you are.
