| | The Republicans .... | | .... Deserved to lose control of the federal government. These guys rode in on their White Horses in 1994 with promises of a new day. They promised a smaller, less intrusive federal government. They promised to abolish (not reduce) the control that the IRS has over our lives and replace the income tax with a simple excise tax. They promised to term limit themselves out of office. They promised more liberty for all. They delivered none of this. They became the party of big government. The problem is, now that they have been voted out of office, they've been replaced with the party of even bigger government. Vi

| | I'm glad the Democrats have won the House, and I hope they take the Senate. The Republicans have completely sold out and don't deserve to win shit.
Here is to hoping that the next two years of gridlocked government, endless investigations, and continued government intrusion into every area they DON'T belong in will wake people up the fact that they need to vote THIRD PARTY.
Until people understand that we are functioning in an essentially one party system, I don't think we are going to get anywhere. If Al Gore had won the 2000 election, we would still be in Iraq. The Republicans would be denouncing the present war as "nothing but a meals on wheels program" and needless "social engineering" while the Democrats would be screaming about human rights while burning birkas in the streets.
People need to stop listening to what the Republicrats SAY and start watching what they DO. And they both DO the same things.

I don't think Dank has any outside meaning, other than the usual slang, I mean around here (I'm in No. Cal) the "dank" is the hi-grade smoke.
Aight, ya'll have a good one and enjoy all the election fallout, I'm gonna go see the New York Dolls and its givin me wood. Later
