As Eric Bailey blogs on the LA Times' L.A. Now site, "a tax on pot sales in California could fetch as much as $1.4 billion, according to the board's analysis in response to a proposal by Assemblyman Tom Ammiano (D-San Francisco) that would regulate cannabis much like alcohol."

i live in cali... and i think if they taxed it it would be worth it ... it wouldnt be much cheeper ..but it would lessen crime..make sure your not getting bad grass or ripped off, and it would help the economy....and my parents would have to find another reason to be mad that i smoke....lol
