If our foreign policy was noninterventionist this kid would be home. One thing that is undeniable is the United Sates is the world police, THAT is wrong. The war in Afghanistan is not about national defense, it is about global domination. Afghanistan is one of the poorest nations in the world, yet we are there "defending our country" from them? Cmon. It's another Viet Nam. Bush ? Obama ? Both support this war, meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

It is called war fatigue, and it is usually reserved for those fighting... but you have it.

When the troops want to come home, I want them to. When they say "let me do my job." I do. I do not herald their cause until they ask for it. I sure as hell wouldn't want them fighting our fight unless we asked for it.

FFS... don't MAKE it another Vietnam, and it wont be. Give them the opportunity to succeed.

the thing that bothers me is the media only shows the parts that would make Americans mad, not the part where he says we don't want to be here. we basically know they didn't attack us, 911 was our government. so why are we there? i think we need to get out of the war business all together unless it is justified, which with what people like Alex Jones show us its really just the same group of people that plan the wars every time one happens. soon we will go to war with iran and before we do i want Americans to stop and think wtf y should we get in there kool-aid lets fix out shit then merely use diplomacy to perhaps influence irans decisions.

I dont mean another Viet Nam tactically. I mean politically. We don't belong there. People resent foreign intervention. I would resist foreign troops here, wouldn't you?

We absolutely need to get out of the war business. It is so sickening to think of our men and women over there being killed. Not to mention all the people that want nothing to do with it dying as a result.

The cost to our economy due to the war in Iraq.

If we need to get a country on our side, we should use that money to pay for schools and hospitals and never had a drop of blood. While getting a country fully on our side.

jesus christ hanimmal! good site, thanks for showing us. i have a theory, that is 99.9% of ppl in the world are happy without war, and the .1% are in it for some sort of prophet of cos it will benefit them and their cause. i think we can also agree that 9 out of 10 times a war could have been avoided by talking about shit.

this guy is proof that we dont want to be over there and our govt is war crazy. and the fact that the media ignored that message shows that the powers at be want to use this man to make the American people support the war and want to fight.

i really hope we dont go to war with iran but i think the powers that be have already decided this.

Actually that's not necessarily true.

1. War requires munitions, munitions are manufactured, implying jobs.
2. Some of these people used military enrollment to escape prison sentences (very few cases, I know)
3. Some of these people would have been unemployed

Now, while munitions do not benefit the economy, and represent mal-investment, that does not mean that they are a waste, because the firms that manufacture them pay their employees who then spend that money on other goods and services.

For the average person that uses the military to escape a prison sentence the savings are on the order of $16,000 a year.

Unemployment would result in government having to pay these people unemployment benefits. Or if they had gotten a job and then lost it, they would have had to have been paid benefits.

Besides, the cost of the war is already taken out of the economy in taxes.

Not all war "costs" can be measured in dollars. What price human life and suffering?

I was in the military and out of all the people I know not a one raised their hand in order to get out of a prison sentence. In fact if you have a felony depending on what it is, you probably will not even get into the military. The economy is too bad, alot of people cant find jobs and turn to the military for work. There is alot of competition there has been a huge raise in standards in recent years. This isn't the 60's they havent done a military or prison ultimatum for years now.
