SHORT TITLE. This joint resolution may be cited as the ``Further Resolution on Iraq''. SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES. The President is authorized to use all means that he determines to be appropriate, including force, in order to enforce the United Nations Security Council Resolutions referenced above, defend the national security interests of the United States against the threat posed by Iraq, and restore international peace and security in the region. Mr. MURKOWSKI. This contains a number of ``whereas's.'' It is transmitted by the Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs and the Counsel to the President. At the conclusion of the resolution that is going to be before this body is a joint resolution cited as ``Further Resolution on Iraq.'' I will read the ``resolved'' portion: The President is authorized to use all means that he determines to be appropriate, including force, in order to enforce United Nations Security Council Resolutions referenced above, defend the national security interests of the United States against the threat posed by Iraq, and restore international peace and security in the region. </QUOTE> This link is for the Senate Bill for the Use of Force in Iraq pre 2003. And all the president had to do to continue the war in Iraq indefinitely was to do the following: <QUOTE> SEC. 4. REPORTS TO CONGRESS.

thats right, Bush is doing what is right and thank good all the haters have not given him a nervious breakdown yet, unfortunatly all the haters are invested in the defeat of the "United" States of America. Hold fast you guys out there, seems things may be on the horizon that look positive for the "grown up's" party.
anyway for the new pres I will go with Mcain Guliani or Fred Thomason all the dem canidates are either coo-coo or just power hungry and dont really care about the American People or America. If I had to choose a dem, it would be Obama because you can see in his eyes that he cares for America and is not only interested in his own selfish promotion without care of anything else before that. however I dont think he is expirianced enough and I also dont agree with increasing taxes and having big government trying to tell me how to wipe my ass & how many sheets of TP i can use, or try to control me by giving me entitlements as well as to life time crack dealers & just plain old lazy people who dont want to work so they get thier "babymommas" to be on welfare while they spend all the goodies and suppliment by robbin and dealin. fuck all that. Im trying to feed my family while these fucks are taking 40% of my salary and giving it to these motherfuckers who are gaming the system when the people who really should be getting it are the single abandoned moms who actually have enough honor and are too humble to take it so they work like slaves to raise thier kids alone. while Hillary sits there at her town hall mettings spewing her bullshit to everyone. watch the way the wind blows, i promise you she goes where ever it goes, man its gonna be fun to watch all her flip floping be documented in the national election fucking power hungry hor Last edited by pandabear; 08-02-2007 at 11:30 AM.. |
