And honestly, I am highly biased against her because I can't wrap my mind around the idea that the Bible should be taken literally, which is her guiding life tenet. How can anyone possibly believe that the Bible translates literally into our everyday lives. It sets an impossible and irreconcilable standard.
1. How does Palin's belief in the Bible affect your life? You are obviously bigoted against Christians. Do you have similar problems when it comes to Jews, Muslims, Buddists and Shintos?

2. Todd Palin? Other than being a great husband and a Man's Man, he has nothing to do with Sarah Palin's success or failure as a politician.

3. In my vivid imagination, I see Todd Palin as a guest on the David Letterman show. Hell, they could put that one on pay-TV and make a fortune!

Palin's religion affects my life when she tries to enact laws based upon that religion. And don't fall down the slippery slope Vi. Just because I dislike Palin's incorporation of church into state does NOT mean I dislike Christians. At all. In fact, that's absurd logic.

My wife and I are both religious, so again, your rants just appear to be unreasonable and reliant solely upon pathos.

1. She wants a constitutional amendment barring gay marriage due to religious reasons.

2. She is pro-censorship (which I abhor) due to religious reasons.

3. She is pro-Creationism and thinks it should be taught IN SCHOOLS due to religious reasons.

Shall I go on......?

Didn't Clinton sign DOMA into law? Didn't you vote for Clinton? Furthermore, the bill was passed by Congress by a vote of 85-14 in the Senate and a vote of 342-67 in the House of Reps.

As for the rest, malarkey.

No I did not vote Clinton. I ALWAYS (prior to this last election), and I mean always, vote for third or independent parties in the presidential election. I've even voted Nader!!!! I think third parties need a fair shake and I do everything I can to support them.

And how is censorship malarkey? I am offended by intellectual censorship, which leads to creationism. All scientific evidence leads us to believe that evolution occurred, so when someone tries to change education curricula in order to push religious agenda, than I am offended. It's absolutely ludicrous. This single solitary fact (Palin wanting creationism (anti-science) in school curriculum) makes me loathe every inch of the woman.

"ALWAYS", with a caveat? How professorial. It's Obama-y, to be sure; "I love my country, BUT,".

I meant your assertions; all three, actually, are malarkey. Said to inflame, with little to no accuracy to claim. Or do you have a YouTube? Maybe a press release? Something from the White House briefing room? Or is this too passe? Proving points.

"I love my country, BUT......." are extremely healthy claims in that they allow us to reflect on ourselves as a country. I always criticize my country for what needs changed and praise it for what it does right. Clinton once said (although his speech writer conjured up the phrase), "there's nothing wrong with America that can't be fixed by what's right in America". I firmly believe this claim and think we should always strive to find the wrong so that we can fix it. Remember, patriots DO question the acts of the government.

And there is proof for my claims. Look it up. I am not interested in proving anything to you, however. These are my opinions, my thoughts. You have your opinions and thoughts. If you think one of your opinions may be wrong, you will seek proof and determine for yourself. I am not here to do it for you.

I love my mother, BUT,...

I didn't make the claim. I called bullshit on your claim. The claims you made are false. It is an opinion you have adopted, created from fanciful thoughts of self righteousness. Very professorial, as well. Maybe you are exactly what you claim, prof.
