But seriously... this fight is total bullshit. 1st off, 9/11 was an inside job. secondly, you can't fight "crazy people"... there are always going to be nuts out there. thirdly, this fight on "terrorist" has become a fight on US citizens .

Ignorance of History perhaps. The Middle East (Assyria, or maybe Persia) is what destroyed Rome... too many battles in too many distant lands.

Most of the people that I come in contact with, don't give a hoot about this stuff. They just go stumbling along through their life with their menial problems like how to pay rent and clothe and feed their kids. I doubt that many of them even voted. What is voter turnout in this country, 35-57%, 56.8, the last national turnout, being the highest since 1968.. We, the posters on this site, are a rare breed. we are the ones that actually know that politics makes your life what it is. Democrats in power, let the good times roll. Republicans in power let the thin times roll. I know all you right wingers are trying to Blame Obama for this financial crises. Instead, blame the greedy Bernie Madoff types on wall street and the bankers, all supported by a republican president and congress untill the last 2.5 years. Now we are paying the price for rampant free market greed. Hey I got my stimulus package, 250.00. What the fuck am I supposed to do with that, buy a new watch?
