They also closed down all Whitewater investigations when they fired 93 attorney generals. It's all a hoot.

my question for chchoda would not be palins accomplishments or lack there of but whether he is part of a christian based religion. as how can a non religious person take her seriously. cj i assume is just debating for the sake of debate similar to comments on the mj thread but who knows really i dont post on these as much now its too purposeless.

I look past religious leanings in national politics. I look past Palin just as I look past Obama's crazy church. I know the levers of our founding fathers are intact enough to withstand religious fundamentalism as policy.

George Washington never abandoned his post or sworn duties. Ever. He believed in self sacrifice for country. His struggle was quite a bit more difficult than Palin's... and yet he did not quit.

I know... it is hard to argue around. You do not have to accept that she was a bad choice. Nor that she has proven herself time and time again unfit to lead. You are under no obligation at all to see the situation for what it is. She makes democrats angry. I like that too. The problem is, before you can equate her to any of the people you deflect to, you must accept the fact that all met the prerequisites to be leaders, save her. Magnificent or horrible, they are capable to lead. They are capable at sitting at a chief of staff meeting and comprehend, debate and strategize with the intelligence and resources provided. To make world shaking decisions, and stick to them... even when they are hard.

The bitch believes there were no dinosaurs, and that Muffee saves villages by hunting witches... can I get a fucking amen?

There is no logic whatsoever to the stance that her bizarre, sometimes ignorant, and seemingly always ill advised behavior is what we need to "shake up Washington" any more than putting a retard in office, no matter how interesting the results might be.

This is not a great social experiment, it is your country. It is not a popularity contest, it is your country. It is not France, we do not quit, it is your country. Where is your patriotism?

Democrats are not the enemy... they are your countrymen. You would steer the ship into an iceberg to spite them.

We are strong enough to survive Obama. We are weak enough to be sunk by Palin.

It was an incredibly difficult, but clear choice. The right thing is rarely the easy thing.

What is really worrisome to me, is the intolerance of those who claim to be the tolerant ones when it comes to other people's religious beliefs. Why worrisome? After 70 years of destroying Christianity in the Soviet Union under communist rule, what is Russia left with? No moral compass, that's for sure.

I don't know where you're coming from, jfgordon, but you should know that statists of all stripes want to wipe God out of the equation for a very simple reason ... their god is the god-state, and in their view, there is no room for an opposing viewpoint.

Don't be a sucker, man. The anti-religion propaganda is being spread for a very sinister reason.

Vi

This is the stupidest shit I've ever read.

The main reason people want to abolish religion is because it impacts our society. Is that hard to believe? Your dilusional belief affects me and the way I live my life on a day to day basis. That fair? Howbout if some belief I held affected you in the same way, even though you didn't believe the same thing? You and your kind bitch and moan all the time about how it's unfair for the government to tax rich people more just because they're more successful, but then it's all good when it comes to enforcing stupid shit regarding religion, taking evolution out of science classes, putting religious monuments on public grounds, etc...

There is absolutely nothing sinister behind wanting this shit to stop immediately. It's unfair, it's unjust, and it simply doesn't belong in America.

Not only that, but your brainwashing story has so many Americans believing it, it affects the way they cast their vote.

Example, be honest, do you think an atheist could become the president?

Why do you think that is...? The religious right has brainwashed a lot people into thinking stupid unscientific shit like atheists are immoral, atheists are only atheists because they want to sin and believing in God affects their lifestyle, and other such outrageous, retarded, claims.

I hate to say it, but science backs me up on this one, and I'd be glad to go get a poll right now to prove it, but religious people are generally less intelligent than non religious people. Does it surprise you that most republicans are religious... does it further surprise you that most republicans support Sarah Palin...

Anyway...yeah, she's as dumb as a doornail, I could tell from the very beginning and in any video clip since. If she runs for president in 2012, the democratic party will have a good chance at winning again no matter what Obama does, she's simply that bad of a candidate. So if you republicans are smart at all, you'll pick a decent candidate that will give the democratic party a little competition, and the way shit is going at the moment, that should seriously be the easiest thing in the world... even for you guys.

No, Palin is not a cu.....wait, what? My God, really? OK.

She believes in smaller, limited government.

She believes in lower taxes.

She loves our country.

She supports our troops.

She's a conservative. This insight I garnered from watching her speeches, from watching the Biden debate (in which she killed him), and from watching her interact with her family. She seems genuinely, human. She has the all important attribute of not acting like a modern day politician. She comes from the school of life, not the Harvard school of law. This matters to me. It should have mattered to all of us. But alas, we have become a nation of "elites". Live by the elite, die by the elite, someone should have once said.

PS- God bless your son.

Nope. Agnostic. Who cares whether there is or isn't a God? Not me. I choose to live with virtue, regardless.
