Okay guys ... I admit I'm a complete and total dummy when it comes to economics ... especially government ... as far as a can tell they are printing money with no backing ... but what is your take on the meeting in Yekaterinburg Russia ... this is an op ed but it gives info on the summit.

June 15, 2009 "Truthdig" There are meetings being held Monday and Tuesday in Yekaterinburg, Russia, (formerly Sverdlovsk) among Chinese President Hu Jintao, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and other top officials of the six-nation Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The United States, which asked to attend, was denied admittance. Watch what happens there carefully....It is the first formal step by our major trading partners to replace the dollar as the world’s reserve currency.


So if this happens what will go down? Will gas prices skyrocket as he suggest? Like I said I don't pretend to know about US economics, but I have a strong feeling we ... us poor folk ... are in deep shit ... maybe it's because I just had a root canal, in pain, and taking can't spell it ... perk- a- cets ... anyway I'm stone ... but worried because it would definitely affect me if everything skyrocketed. Hold me? Comments? Criticism? ...

Think about all the talk about stagnating real wages. If money was at a constant value would any one care if their money was worth more or less than it was before?

Actually, on the whole, it would be found that such a discussion would not take place, because money would have the same value. The mismanagement of the dollar by the Federal Reserve is self-evident in the lingual patterns of an economics discussion.

The talk about stagnating wages gives away the negligence of the Federal Reserve and of the Federal Government in regards to protecting the citizenry of the United States by maintaining a strong dollar (or even a stable dollar.)

Well, we all knew this was coming after the G20, and there's nothing you or I can do about it. China and Russia are laughing at Obama, and UK/Europe are disgusted with him. Obama is clueless and delusional, and what makes it destructive is he doesn't care. He believes he's in a position of security and we'll be paying the price. He knows this and he wants this. Remember, when things do hit the fan (and they will), Obama will cloak himself in whatever's left of our resources to protect himself and his family.


The good side of this meeting and the possible dollar drop is that it would reveal without any doubt Obama's failure. There's no way Obama can blame this on Bush, altho he will try. 2011 is just around the corner, so I'm wondering why he would be so brazen with his destructive policies (unless he is expecting to be able to secure his power despite opposing public opinion). Don't be surprised if we have our own Iran-election-fiasco in 2012 after Obama and ACORN botch the election results. It could happen, especially if you account for his community street agitators being recruiting as I write this.


If China wants to drop our dollar, than fine. America will survive on its own quite easily. We can grow food, we can make water into wine, and oh yeah, we have one of the most powerful military in action. The only threat America has is Obama. He's been systematically removing civil defenses and building an army of Czars and bureaucrats blindly supporting him. If they do drop the dollar, they'll remove the pedestal Obama stands on. He'll have a tough time explaining himself to Americans when the US turns into a third world country, similar to the Middle Eastern countries he panders to. So I'm hoping the East shunning Obamanomics will remove the cloak Obama hides behind. And most of the celebrity seekers who voted for this fool will finally wake up hungry in the streets wondering how they could have been fooled so easily. I just pray this isn't a preparation intended to compliment Obama's self-destruction, allowing China and Russia to keep America down economically for a very long time. Personally, I know we can live without China and Russia just on our principles alone. I'm worried how much or how little Obama will let me live without his intervention.

the federal reserve started montizing the debt.
the russians and chinese and about any other oil producing country also are holding onto vast amounts of US dollars they have earned through trade with the USA over the decades .
our printing press;s are going to make the dollars they have worthless..ours too by the way.
it has been public knowledge that the chinese are calling for a new world reserve currency...THEIRS...lol
china is in the drivers seat without doubt. they are buying up gold and commodity are rates unheard of in world history right now.
and obama and geithner are printing money at unheard of rates in the history of man kind. even more than the post ww1 weihmar republic.if i spelled that correctly.

you are going to have something called stagflation.
in other words a stagnent economy with no growth.lots of people unemployeed and inflation in everything you use such as food gasoline . i predict by the time obama gets out of office we are going to have people in this country murdered over food. that is how bad it is going to get.
i also predict when unemployemnt gets to around 30 percent you are going to have HUGE AMOUNTS OF civil disobedience.
when the unemployment rate gets to 40% you will have mass bloodshed in this country a full fledged revolution and killing and murder everywhere..how do i know all this you might ask?

Doom and gloom. Well, who really knows what the future holds? If I had a crystal Ball, I'd of bought Microsoft at it's opening, or Google. Maybe I should be buying houses like crazy, or digging a hole in my back yard for all my precious belongings, a very small hole I might add. I have seen some very hard times and I will probably see much more, not too much though as I'm nearing the end of life. My theory is that my generation has seen the best of times, the poor will see the most hurt, the rich will be OK, but not be able to live in their accustomed style. They'll have to fend off the poor coming for their food. I can certainly live a while off my body fat, so hopefully I'll get skinny.
